(watch this space for future updates) "Muerto de Amor" Exhibition - Homage to Federico García Lorca Institute for Indian Art and Culture "BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN", West Kensington, London 23rd September – 10th October 2010 As Spanish artists living in London we value the widely cosmopolitan environment and cultural openness which are the hall marks of this city. We wish to contribute to its rich and multifarious artistic offerings with an exhibition in honour of the work and life of Federico García Lorca entitled “Muerto de Amor” The theme “Muerto de Amor” is the inspiration for the works the participating artists have created for this exhibition, which will include 2 and 3 D visual work, a poetry session, marionettes theater and projections. Workshops for children will take place during the weekends with the aim to involve the community at large and introduce Londoners to some aspects of Spanish art and culture. |
